Pamela Wangeci Gathua has over six year’s professional experience in public policy and public administration; strategic planning; project management; monitoring and evaluation. She holds a master’s degree (Mphil) in Public Policy and Administration from the University of Cape Town.
She possesses a solid track record in public policy research, monitoring and evaluation and strategic planning. In the recent years, she has been involved in various assignments including: Great Lakes Parliamentary Forum on Peace (Amani Forum) – Fact Finding Mission to Kenya; DEN-L Liberia- Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation technical support for 2006-2009 strategic year; King Faisal Hospital- Kigali, Rwanda- Project Coordinator for the recruitment of 28 qualified nurses from Kenya for the King Faisal Hospital in Kigali Rwanda; Development of the Africa Alliance of YMCAs 2008-2011 strategic plan ; Pamoja Trust ( a subsidiary of Slum Dwellers International)- Developing the Strategic Plan and organizational restructuring amongst other assignments.
